typographic posters

I completed these posters in Typography II, and my topic was “Stand Up: 3 Social Movements.” The movements are Black Lives Matter, The Mothers of De Plazo, and Chibok’s Bring Back Our Girls, The idea of uplifting BIPOC communities, listening to Black stories, and serving the underserved is what inspired me for the posters. Displayed here are the final iterations; progress ideation; initial ideas and directional approaches; and typographic experimentation taken with my camera and manipulated in Photoshop.

These experimentations and posters were created using my Canon Rebel T5, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
